Dear Sir or Madame, Greetings from the Marine Corps League, Gold Country Detachment #885 in Grass Valley, California. I'm sure you're
familiar with some Marine Corps history such as the flag raising at Iwo Jima in WWII, our motto of Semper Fidelis (Latin for Always Faithful) or our League slogan; "Once a Marine, Always a Marine." As a group
of former Marines, our membership still serves our country and community today with many activities like providing Color Guards at public events, Honor Guards at Veteran's funerals, helping military families in need and
our well known Toys for Tots program, providing new toys to disadvantaged children at Christmas who might not receive a gift otherwise. Fundraising and private donations remain our only source of generating
the funds necessary to continue with these great programs and allowing us to provide the services that we do. However, this year we've chosen to expand our fund raising efforts by hosting our first annual
Casino Night! We have partnered with the Friends of Nevada County Military to
bring you this event that will also help support the important work that they do sending care packages every month to our troops in harms way.
Here's how you can help. We are asking for table sponsors, cash donations and/or gifts that our guests can win during our Casino Night on October 27th. It's going to be a great, exciting night with the
world's favorite table games bringing smiles to the faces of all of our guests and ultimately to our community, troops on the front lines, wounded warriors and deserving children. There are three levels
of sponsorship available: $150, $250 and $400. At the $150 level you are a table sponsor and your name is prominently displayed on a placard at a gaming table. At the $250 level you receive a table sponsorship, a
sponsor placard and four free tickets to the event to use yourself or to give to employees and at the $400 level you will receive a table sponsorship, sponsor placard and eight free tickets to the event. Of course if
you are able to be more generous we certainly appreciate your contribution. Regardless of the amount, any amount you give would be greatly appreciated and will go to a good cause. We understand that without
the help of people and businesses like you much of what we do would be unattainable. Thank you for your continued and generous financial and moral support. If you'd like to sponsor a table or prize for
