Come out for a GREAT time Saturday, October 27th at the Marine Corps League's Casino Night & Costume Party!

When you do, you'll be helping to support the many activities we do like providing Color Guards at public events, Honor Guards at Veteran's funerals, helping military families in need and our well known Toys for Tots program, providing new toys to disadvantaged children at Christmas who might not receive a gift otherwise.

We've partnered with Friends of Nevada County Military to bring you this event that will also support the good work they do sending care packages to our troops in harms way.

A good time is sure to be had by all so don your favorite costume or just come as you are; we'll be looking for you!

"Rose Pens" are one of the ways we support the activities that we do.

Very simply, it is a ink pen with a beautiful silk rose on the top and has a little note from the Marine Corps League on it.

Once or twice a year we give them away in front of stores in Nevada County and ask that recipients give whatever donation they can in exchange. If not, we still smile and ask that you think of a Marine while using the pen.
